When I was younger, I thought that it was kind of weird to see older men and younger women together. I always imagined that there should be some kind of limit as to how many years the gap should be between a man and woman. Yet, as I got older, I was able to meet and know some couples where the man was much older than the woman, and I was able to see the deep connection that they had with one another. It was like the age difference didn’t even matter at all, and they were able to be perfectly in sync with one another. These days, it is more common to see younger women seeking older men so that they can also be dating older men.
I enjoy roaming around the mall from time to time, or just simply sitting down at a coffee shop within the mall and just observing the people around me. You can see so many older men and younger women strolling around while walking hand in or hand, or perhaps you can see them with babies or young children and it is just a very sweet sight to behold. It just showed me that love can really be for a lifetime. Even when you are older, you still have the chance and opportunity to find love; and I believe that is what many of the men are seeking for these days.
So what about the young women, why are younger women going after older men? What makes it such a hip and cool thing to do? What makes an older man attractive in the eyes of a much younger woman? Well, those are probably some of the questions that you are asking; so that is why I took it upon myself to research as well as ask women’s opinions about this matter, and the results are indeed surprising.
One of the first main reasons why younger women want older men are in style is simple because of the stability and security they can get from him. I’m not just talking about financial security, although that always seems to be the number one thing that would enter the mind of a person. It is sad that this might be the first thought anyone could get, but it is not necessarily the reality of the matter. They feel secure and stable with an older man because he is more grounded and has definitely accomplished many things in life. Young men are still struggling to make their way to the top or to be where they want to be, and if a younger woman doesn’t want to go into that kind of ordeal, then it is so much better if they just decide to go with an older men.
Second reason is that many of the men feel more loved and cared for by older women then from younger men. An older man has had much more experience when it comes to nurturing and love then younger men, they have also grown up in a generation where most of them have learned what it means to be respectful, loving, and caring towards a woman. It is definitely plus point to them.
Finally, they want someone who can devote their time to them and be with them, then someone who is just going out all the time to chase a dream or hang out with the boys. Younger women feel that older men would usually choose to just be with them than anywhere else.
